IT Support Specialist role Purpose

The primary purpose of this IT Support Specialist is to provide L1 application and service support to the business, to have a detailed understanding of the Logistics Business from a technical and operational perspective for Internal and External customers and testing of application functionality. In addition, to Train users to a level of competence in the system.

The key responsibilities for you as IT Analyst include

To ensure that the assigned user community is functional and can operate the business with minimum disruption providing out of hours cover as required.

Undertaking general systems housekeeping

Application functional support and L1 for all systems related issues & queries as the interface between the Business Operations management, Customers IT management and IT Team in order to Improve system performance/functionality & efficiencies. »

Scheduling and running of Application Management routines

Contribute to a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team colleagues.

Ensure that DHL & Customer company policies are applied where applicable.

Training and Documentation – define requirement for and then facilitate creation and maintenance of required IT documentation.  

Work with third party service providers & partners, (both internal & external)                       

Requirements for the job

Language Requirements English (Fluent)

IT Service Experience: 2 years minimum (L1 support)

Internal/External Customer & Service Provider Request Management

IT Literate

Communication (written and verbal)

Team Player
