Candidate Profile

Education/Experience required

  • Minimum of a Bachelors’ degree in any science
  • Excellent analytical skills for record keeping. 
  • Excellent Inter-personal and communication skills. 
  • Excellent computer skills (Ms. Excel, MS Word). 

Activities

Main Objective

  • The role holder’s main objective is to receipt, store, stock take and dispatch over 30,000 LPG Cylinders per month. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise the loading and offloading of LPG cylinders and Accessories in the depot. 
  • Coordinate with security to ensure that trucks with LPG orders at the bond gate enter the depot timely for loading and follow up the LPG trucks in the market. 
  • Ensure proper storage of all filled and empty LPG cylinders plus LPG Accessories.
  • Reconcile LPG/Accessories and delivery notes every after invoicing on a monthly basis.
  • Daily performance report shared to managers/stake holders. 
  • Ensure LPG delivery trucks are compliant with safe to load and HSEQ procedures and practices. 
  • Ensure that before any trucks leave the depot, checks on the quantity loaded is carried with the truck driver and security personnel to confirm the quantity loaded. 
  • Follow up with customer orders from Customer service Centre and plan routes with the sales team. 
  • Ensure compensatory measures listed for any Down-graded situation are followed 
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

  • Availability of appropriate tools and equipment for execution of tasks

  • Manual counting of cylinders. 
  • Not fully automated to eliminate manual handling 
  • An environment in which drivers have a biased attitude towards safety and security controls
