    Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Planning & Event Management: Develop and implement the annual event strategy for Hermès Hong Kong & Macau, aligning with the global brand vision and regional communication objectives. Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, from conceptualization and budgeting to on-site event setup & management and post-event analysis, ensuring alignment with the overall strategic direction. Conduct post-event evaluations to measure KPI and identify areas for improvement.
    • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a team of five event specialists, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback. Create a positive and collaborative team environment, encouraging professional development and growth. Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and create development plans for team members. Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring team members have clear roles, responsibilities and efficiency. Conduct regular team meetings to review progress of each project, address challenges, and ensure alignment on project objectives.
    • Project Management & Budget Planning: Manage and oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, scenography and programs, technical requirement, production and transportation, demonstrating exceptional planning and organizational skills within budget constraints. Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, and track progress against key milestones for all events. Proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks. Oversee budget planning, contract negotiation, and expense tracking, ensuring cost-effective event planning and execution.
    • Collaboration & Relationship Management: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. other Communication functions, Retail, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Customer Experience, etc.) to ensure integrated communication and event synergy, effectively communicating project plans and progress updates. Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners, negotiating contracts and managing vendor pitching and performance.
    • Branding & Communication: Ensure brand consistency across all events and in-store animations, reflecting meticulous planning and attention to detail. Develop and deliver compelling presentations to internal and external stakeholders, showcasing the strategic rationale and detailed planning behind each event.
    • Industry Acumen & Strategic Foresight: Maintain a deep understanding of the luxury landscape, including emerging trends, innovative creativities, and best practices. Cultivate and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to stay ahead of market trends and identify potential opportunities. Proactively anticipate potential challenges and develop effective mitigation strategies to ensure smooth event execution.

     

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or above, in business, marketing, communication, art & design, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in PR and project management.
    • Experience managing a team of PR or event professionals and fostering a collaborative environment.
    • Excellent project management, people management, and team leadership skills, with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
    • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to confidently present event plans and strategies to diverse audiences.
    • Deep understanding of the luxury industry and its target audience, with insights into effective event planning for this segment.
    • Strong time management skills, with a detail-oriented and logical mindset essential for meticulous event planning.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event planning software.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively contributing to collaborative planning efforts.
    • Knowledge of digital communication and social media strategies for event planning.
    • Based in Hong Kong, with occasional travel to Macau and other overseas locations as required for project or business needs.
